The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled International Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling European groupage services, arranging movement of freight from origin to final destination, both international and national, and liaising with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • As an International Supply Chain Specialist, you will work within a well-established team to enhance our customer offerings.
  • You will handle European groupage services, European markets, import and export.
  • You will arrange movement of freight from origin to final destination, both international and national.
  • You will liaise with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers.
  • You will also provide holiday cover for colleagues within different geographies.

Requirements

  • You must have experience working within an EUROPEAN ROAD FREIGHT forwarding environment - Road Freight- FTL / PTL / Groupage.
  • You must have knowledge of the road freight industry both import and export in the UK and Europe.
  • You must have at least 2 years of experience within a EUROPEAN ROAD FREIGHT role.
  • You must be able to calculate costs and charges.
  • You must be able to manage multiple customer requirements at once.
  • Prior knowledge of Customs systems: CDS, NCTS, Sequoia, Destin8, CNS, and GMR would be advantageous.
  • You must have a good understanding of taxable kilos.
  • You must have experience in customs clearance.
