An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and organized Clinical Trial Coordinator to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our Clinical Trials Unit, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of clinical trials from set up to close down.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the management of one or more clinical trials, working closely with the Chief Investigator, Clinical Operations Manager, and Trial Manager as part of a multi-disciplinary research team.
- Coordinate the design, implementation, and running of clinical trials across multiple participating hospitals, ensuring timely data collection and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance.
- Obtain ongoing ethical and regulatory approvals, and facilitate meetings of trial committees.
- Ensure relevant and timely updates for project stakeholders, and maintain awareness of NHS research governance and International Conference on Harmonisation – Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) guidelines.
- Honours degree in a relevant science or healthcare-related subject, or specialist knowledge gained through formal training and extensive work experience in a healthcare/academic setting.
- Demonstrates commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD).
- 27 days annual leave (pro rata for part-time) plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 29 days after 5 years' service and to 33 days after 10 years.
