Salary: £123,855 - £176,153 per annum, inclusive of £11,185 annual supplement.

About the Job:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Dermatologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing clinical dermatology services within inpatient and outpatient settings, including routine and urgent clinics. You will work closely with colleagues and peers to provide a hospital-based specialist dermatology service, contributing to the continuing development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general dermatology services, including routine and urgent clinics.
• Work in partnership with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient treatment and care.
• Take significant responsibility for supervision and management of inpatient referrals.
• Undertake all medical duties, assessing ill patients, managing medical problems, and liaising with relatives and other medical departments.

Person Specification:

• Full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC.
• Eligible to be included on the Specialist Register (CCT expected within 6 months of interview date).
• MRCP or equivalent primary medical qualification.

Working Arrangements:

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly to deliver clinically effective and cost-effective healthcare. They will be required to take on management roles, such as Specialty or Foundation Training Co-ordinator, Education Lead, or Clinical Governance Lead. The study leave allowance is 10 days per annum.
