Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Procurement Specialist to join our team at TT Electronics. This role will be responsible for supporting the organization's supply chain operations, ensuring that material flow supports planned production and related functions.

Salary Range:

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of high-volume buying requirements within the electronics industry, with experience in negotiation and agreement of prices with suppliers. A full understanding of quality standards and their application to all aspects of the purchasing role is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate MRP for key suppliers/commodities.
  • Assist with projects and RFQ generation.
  • Negotiate and agree pricing with suppliers.
  • Raise and manage EC orders.
  • Manage invoice queries.
  • Obtain and transact into MRP, weekly expedite reports and acknowledgements from suppliers.
  • Generate and review the monthly shortage report.
  • Identify and report any risk in the supply chain that may impact manufacturing to plan.
  • Evaluate and ensure Quality standards are rigorously applied to all tasks completed.
  • Comply with all policy and legislative requirements respecting Health & Safety and Environmental Legislation.

Requirements:

  • Broad understanding of high-volume buying requirements within the electronics industry.
  • Experienced in negotiation and agreement of prices with suppliers.
  • Full understanding of quality standards and their application to all aspects of the purchasing role.
  • Previous demonstrable experience in buying/MRP.
  • Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Numerate, accurate with attention to detail.
  • Excellent PC skills, including MS Office, Excel.
  • Able to work to deadlines with minimal supervision.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Possess CIPS certification.
