About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-volume caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury RTA Portal claims following the MOJ process. You will be responsible for progressing your caseload, ensuring that clients receive timely and professional legal advice, with regular contact, while managing their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a high-volume caseload of RTA Portal claims following the MOJ process
  • Providing timely and professional legal advice to clients
  • Identifying early cases where proceedings would be beneficial to litigate and doing so expeditiously
  • Escalating cases with serious injuries to remove them from the Portal
  • Instructing Barristers to represent clients at hearings and obtaining formal advice on quantum
  • Liaising with third parties, including Medical Agencies and Engineers
  • Undertaking other duties reasonably required by partners or senior management
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • A good understanding of the MOJ process
  • Knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Proven IT skills and ability to adapt to new technology
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral and written presentation skills
  • The ability to provide a high level of client care
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferably claimant orientated
  • Proficient with Proclaim Case Management, although training will be provided
  • Experience of Infant Approval Hearings and Stage 3 hearings
Personal Attributes:
  • Self-motivated to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • A positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment
  • Methodical approach to tasks and problem solving

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
