We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to join our team at Nursery People, a specialist nursery recruitment agency dedicated to connecting talented early years professionals with leading childcare companies and settings.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of managing the nursery, ensuring that we maintain high standards of care and education. This will involve:

  • Leading a Team of Early Years Professionals
    • Providing leadership and direction to staff, ensuring continuous professional development
    • Building strong, trusting relationships with parents, children, and the local community
  • Operational Management
    • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staffing, compliance, and curriculum planning
    • Managing nursery budgets, resources, and occupancy levels
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, including safeguarding and health & safety standards
    • Promoting an engaging, stimulating environment where children feel valued and supported in their learning journey

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Leadership Experience
    • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education with management experience in a nursery setting
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted requirements
    • Exceptional communication and organisational skills
    • A commitment to providing the highest standards of care and education for young children
    • A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
