The Role: Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director to join our Birmingham office. In this role, you will lead a portfolio of clients, encompassing large corporations, private equity-owned businesses, groups, and privately held entities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services to a diverse client base.
- Manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and expanding our client portfolio.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Your Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a minimum of three years of experience at a managerial level.
- Proven track record in managing client engagements within a professional services environment.
- Strong accounting and financial reporting expertise, ideally with specialization in IFRS, US GAAP, complex UK GAAP reporting, or specific industry sectors.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving abilities.
