About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Therapy Assistant to join our team at Llanarth Court Hospital, a 114-bedded forensic hospital providing a secure environment for individuals with mental illness and personality disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapists and the Therapy Team to deliver group and one-to-one occupational, therapeutic, and recreational activities and interventions.
  • Deliver innovative interventions as directed by Occupational Therapists to meet the needs of individual patients.
  • Evaluate patient progress and document interventions via clinical notes.
  • Be involved in reducing restrictive interventions, including managing incidents of violence and aggression where required.
