PPA Teacher Opportunity in Lancaster

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced KS2 PPA Teacher to join our team in Lancaster. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality education and nurturing the growth and development of our students.

This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week. The days are to be determined, with the school having flexibility on what days. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching specific subjects to KS2, from Year 3 to Year 5.

The ideal candidate will have excellent behaviour management skills and be able to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of KS2 children.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate children's learning across all areas of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Assess children's progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their achievements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support children's holistic development.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all.
