The Role
This role involves working as a critical member of the Production team at the Huyton site, reporting directly to the Shift Manager. You will be responsible for supporting and developing team members to ensure the production cell follows process and company rules.
Key responsibilities include identifying, registering, and following up on any safety concerns within the cell, training team members to follow JES and understand audit processes, and maintaining a clean and safe workplace according to 5S protocol.
You will also be responsible for daily machine checks, basic process management, standard work audits, and continuous improvement initiatives, which encourage a solution-based approach to identify problems as opportunities to improve.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who possess a Level 3 NVQ qualification, previous experience working in a busy production environment, and line leader experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector.
Candidates should have good competence with Microsoft Office, SAP software experience, and excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and reliability.

Salary
The estimated salary for this position is £38,000 per annum, based on competitive hourly rates and enhanced rates for overtime.
