Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Marmion, a well-established, multi-disciplined chartered surveying practice. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive commercial support to our diverse range of clients across various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert commercial support, including measurement, estimating, contract review, administration, and procurement.
  • Manage interim valuations, variation management, cost value reconciliations (CVRs), and final account settlements.
  • Engage in project management activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and specialist contractors.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Background experience in subcontracting, contracting, or PQS would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work autonomously and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professionalism, approachability, and a strong team player.
  • RICS accreditation, or willingness to achieve.
  • A strong passion for continuous improvement and further development.
  • Strong client management, communication, and presentation skills.
