Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Building Compliance Engineer to join our client's leading consultancy, providing environmental, sustainability, and compliance services to the construction industry.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Building Compliance Engineer to join our team. As a Building Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our client's projects meet the necessary building regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out air testing and other compliance-related tasks in accordance with CIBSE TM23:2000, BS EN13829:2001, and ATTMA TSL1 & TSL2.
- Interpret and evaluate test results, identifying any defects or issues that need to be addressed.
- Produce high-quality reports and documentation, including ATTMA short reports using electronic systems.
- Liaise with site agents, personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Transport equipment to and from test sites, using vehicles and manual methods as required.
Requirements:
- ATTMA Level 1 or Level 2 certification.
- Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- Knowledge of building regulations or construction industry guidelines (desirable).
- Computer literacy, including Excel spreadsheets and Outlook.
- Experience in testing complex buildings, plenums, smoke shafts, isolation rooms (HBN 04 BTS 03), and PassivHaus (desirable).
