Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Tenancy Sustainment Worker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support tenants in maintaining their tenancies, providing guidance and assistance to help them overcome any challenges they may face.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster positive relationships with tenants, offering guidance and support to ensure the sustainability of their tenancies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address the needs of tenants and provide tailored solutions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at promoting tenancy sustainment and community well-being.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals facing housing challenges or similar circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
- Experience in advocating for vulnerable individuals and implementing support plans.
- Knowledge of housing legislation and welfare benefits, with the ability to provide informed advice to tenants.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in social work, housing support, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo the process.
