We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to fill the role of a full-time Aspiring STEM Teacher at a fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Barnet. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to embark on a long-term career in education, with a focus on teaching Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) subjects to students aged 11-16.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a Science-related field, such as Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Natural Sciences, Mathematics & Physics, Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to raise attainment and improve student outcomes. In addition to their teaching duties, they will also support the work of the Secondary Teaching Assistant and contribute to the development of the Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics Department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering KS3-5 lessons with a focus on raising attainment
  • Supporting Secondary Teaching Assistant (Subject dependent)
  • Conducting GCSE & A Level interventions
