Aston Martin F1 Team is seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Development Engineer to join our Supplier Quality team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring external suppliers produce quality parts to our standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit suppliers and track their performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality standards documentation for parts produced externally.
- Provide procedures and processes to ensure full compliance with quality standards.
- Develop supplier relations and improve communication with suppliers, inspection, procurement, manufacturing, and design office teams.
- Manage assigned projects and maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure quality parts are provided by suppliers within required timescales.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Excellent working knowledge of quality assurance methods and processes in a high-pressure engineering environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality parts are provided by suppliers.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and MRP/ERP systems such as IFS, SAP, or similar.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
