FirstLight Home Care of Southern Maine
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Careers Specialist to join our team. As a Careers Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing recruiting requirements, building an applicant pool, and assisting with the hiring process of caregivers.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent, one to three years of related recruiting or human resources experience, and advanced knowledge of non-medical home care or healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Establish recruiting requirements by meeting with managers and reviewing organization plans
- Build applicant pool by researching and contacting various candidate sources
- Assist with the hiring process of caregivers: processing applications, background screening, interviewing, and reference validation
- Take initiative and determine actions to meet goals
