Exciting Opportunity for a Financial Support Specialist

We are partnering with a dynamic PE backed business in Rochdale to recruit an experienced Financial Support Specialist. This role offers a unique chance to gain exposure to the entire finance function and contribute to the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Financial Controller in month-end reporting and financial analysis
  • Manage the purchase ledger and sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Monitor accruals and prepayments, providing variance analysis and recommendations
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Calculate VAT in accordance with operating country legislation
  • Respond to queries and maintain a professional mailbox

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in finance, preferably in a similar role
  • Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Hands-on experience with month-end reporting and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of multi-currency transactions, a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy
