Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our Imaging Administration team at Spire Healthcare Ltd.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and busy role that requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently book and record patient details and appointments on the system via telephone, face-to-face, and referral letter.
  • Greet, welcome, and provide necessary assistance to patients, consultants, and visitors.
  • Register new or follow-up patients for procedures, outpatient consultations, or pre-op assessments.
  • Provide and receive patient information, ensuring compliance with data protection, information governance, and Spire policies.
  • Offer reception cover and general administrative support to the Imaging department.
  • Be flexible with working hours to meet business needs and department requirements.
  • Promote a friendly, professional, and positive attitude at all times.
  • Ensure the administrative aspect of the patient journey is efficient with excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Issue imaging reports in a timely manner, adhering to information governance to ensure they are sent to the correct referring clinician.
  • Manage email inquiries and referrals in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Highly organized and able to manage workload effectively.
  • Experience in an administrative role or similar environment is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
  • A team player confident in interacting with diverse individuals.

Working Hours and Benefits:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week, with one Saturday in three on a rota basis.
