Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Partner to join our team in the Midlands and North Region. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial support and guidance to our Regional Director/MD and their teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Interpret monthly management accounts to provide meaningful analysis and commentary against budgets, forecasts, and previous years' performance for the respective area.
  • Sales Performance Support: Provide analysis and challenge on the utilisation of the rental fleet, rental rates, transport rates, and 360 products to deliver against budget and forecast targets.
  • Reporting: Produce monthly regional/OBU trading and reporting packs with appropriate league tables for depot and sales performance by salesperson.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for all depots and regional functions, delivering insight and analysis to identify and communicate long-term trends to key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years' experience in FP&A/FBP role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills & ability to manipulate large data sets, Confident communicator with the ability to manage a diverse set of senior stakeholders, Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and influence at a senior level, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
