We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Anaesthetist to join our dynamic team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a large and active Anaesthetic Department, with close operational links with Theatres on each site. The department is integrated with the Pain Management Services, all part of the Clinical Support Division (CSD).
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the Divisional Director for CSD, Dr Thea De Beer, and the Clinical Director for Theatres & Anaesthesia, Dr Hannah Sycamore.
Our TeamOur Anaesthetic Departments maintain close links with the University Department headed by Professor Jonathan Hardman. We collaborate to provide teaching for undergraduates and all grades of anaesthetic trainees. Laboratory and clinical research can be undertaken, and the development of individual and specialist research interests is encouraged.
Locally, specialty training in anaesthesia is managed by the East Midlands School of Anaesthesia, Health Education East Midlands. Our Anaesthetic departments are actively involved in the training of specialty trainees at all levels.
