Totally seeks to improve healthcare outcomes for all through the delivery of exceptional health and wellbeing services. Our senior podiatry team provides high-quality care to patients within HMP settings, requiring a skilled and dedicated professional.

We are seeking an experienced Podiatrist (Senior) Offender Health to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, including assessments, treatments, and maintaining accurate records. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver a coordinated service and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will be required to assess capacity, gain valid informed consent, and work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent to treatment. You will also provide specialist advice, teaching, and training to other members of the multidisciplinary team as required.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • To manage own clinical caseload, including assessments, treatments, and record-keeping.
  • To maintain professional standards and comply with all PPH standards, policies, and procedures.
  • To accept clinical responsibility for designated caseloads and organise effectively.
Professional Development:
  • To maintain own clinical professional development (CPD) by keeping up to date with new trends and developments.
  • To participate in the CPD training programme and attend external courses and practising reflective practice.
