Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our expanding team at Kingdom People. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality periodic electrical inspections, installations, and repairs. You will work efficiently and safely, with the opportunity to adapt to a diverse daily workload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the refurbishment and fleet management team in delivering quality work.
  • Collaborate closely with workshop fitters, wash bay, yard personnel, and transport to meet daily operational expectations.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration and potential support to other depots during periods of annual leave.
  • Identify damage and capture chargeable costs using IT systems and processes.
  • Ensure all testing and work are completed in line with IET regulations.
  • Diagnose electrical and electronic systems, inspect equipment, and perform portable appliance testing.
  • Support the wider team and conduct on-site work when required.
  • Manage consumable usage and parts, ensuring good cost control.
  • Monitor work quality to minimize errors and meet KPI targets.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies, maintain a high standard of workspace upkeep, and follow 5S working standards.
  • Perform general laboring duties and any reasonable tasks as needed.
  • Meet KPIs, targets, and objectives.

Requirements:

  • NVQ L3 Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
  • 18th Edition qualification.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to supply your own tools.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Low voltage DC & PV experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Experience within a multi-trade background is desirable, particularly in hire repair/reactive repair and site welfare sectors.
