Academics SEN Teaching Assistant Role

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and patient Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support a child with special needs in a primary school setting. The ideal candidate will help the child achieve their targets and develop in a collaborative environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the child and teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Provide individualized support to the child, focusing on their unique needs and abilities.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive support.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, and Non-Verbal students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, teachers, and parents.
- Strong patience and empathy, with a nurturing approach to supporting children's unique needs.
