Overview of HR Generalist Leader Role

Firmdale Hotels, a renowned hospitality group, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist Leader to join their team at the Covent Garden Hotel. As a key member of the management team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing all people-related activities and ensuring that the hotel provides a compliant and excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR generalism, preferably within the hospitality sector, with experience in engagement, communications, employee relations, and learning and development. A working knowledge of employment law and CIPD qualification are highly desirable.

About the Job

This on-site role based in our 5-star luxury hotel offers a unique opportunity to build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, providing sound and expert advice to deliver an exceptional people service. The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Managers to support employee relations, health, and wellbeing, and people policies. They will also assist Managers with recruitment needs, organize employee engagement initiatives, and ensure effective compliance with personnel data and records.

  • Supporting Senior Managers with employee relations, health, and wellbeing, and people policies
  • Assisting Managers with recruitment needs and onboarding new starters
  • Organizing and promoting employee engagement initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate personnel data and records
  • Implementing HR initiatives and liaising with people provider companies
