Job Description
This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Sustainable Procurement team as an Advanced Procurement Category Lead. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leveraging business spend analysis to optimize procurement decisions across the organization. You will also support the development and implementation of category management strategies, driving procurement excellence and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage business spend analysis to optimize procurement decisions and drive cost savings
- Develop and implement category management strategies to drive procurement excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for sustainable growth and improvement
- Implement sustainable procurement practices and policies to minimize environmental impact
- Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics to inform business decisions
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in the construction or defence sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and teams
- Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
