The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inspection Operator to join our growing Polishing Team. As an Inspection Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting all finishing of all production lines to the company standard that are produced each day, highlighting any concerns in quality issues to the team leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out quality inspections of all finished parts to the company quality standard.
- Un-jigging components when asked to do so.
- Ensuring all work is done in the correct work order. Oldest first, following work instructions and procedures.
- Ensuring work instructions and procedures are followed at all times.
- Liaising with others as required and assist as necessary in resolving any quality or production issues.
- Working within the team to get the best results and most numbers of trays.
- Passing any quality issues to their team leader.
- Moving around on all lines where required.
- Ensuring your workstation is clean and in a suitable condition for the next person.
- Reporting any quality issue to the Team Leader.
- Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and good housekeeping standards and ensure 5S standards are maintained.
- Maintaining good communications and relationships throughout the company.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
- Experience with in an inspection / Quality role.
- Working within a factory environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Good eye for fault finding.
- Able to take instructions.
- Open and receptive to communication.
