British American Tobacco is at the forefront of a global movement to decrease the health impact of our industry. We're seeking a talented Senior Regulatory Technologist - Health Impact Modelling Specialist to join our team in Southampton.

This exciting opportunity is part of our Global Life Science's Clinical and Behavioural Sciences sub-function, driving the science program for BAT and providing scientific evidence for our products in support of tobacco harm reduction initiatives and regulatory priorities.

The Health Impact Modelling team is responsible for delivering computational modelling workstreams to evaluate the potential impact of our products on population health outcomes. As a key member of this team, you'll work collaboratively with project teams to support the delivery of modelling workstreams, engaging with partners, analysing data, and implementing best practices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of key population modelling projects
  • Literature searching, data collation, and analysis to support modelling requirements
  • Working with internal and external partners to identify data requirements
  • Maintaining and building effective working relationships with internal partners, external vendors, and collaborators
  • Implementing data best practices
  • Collaborating with the Population Health & Consumer Behaviour team to support study delivery

We're looking for a candidate with experience in data review, analysis, and interpretation, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Matlab, R, and/or Python.
