Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for pressure and vacuum systems, including design requirements, engineering drawings, and calculations.
  • Review and ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations, including the Pressure Equipment Directive and Pressure Equipment Regulations.
  • Collaborate with the designated technical authority to provide technical support for pressure and vacuum systems equipment.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant vessel and piping design codes, such as PD5500, ASME III, and BS EN 13445.
  • Work closely with the design management team to ensure codes and compliance are followed.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND in an engineering discipline or a degree in an engineering discipline, with associate membership of an appropriate institute or chartered engineer status.
  • Good working knowledge of Mechanical Engineering practice and relevant regulations and standards.
  • Experience in selecting and specifying materials, understanding product codes, and working knowledge of one or more relevant vessel and piping design codes.
