Accounts Assistant Opportunity

Bond Williams Accounting and Finance is recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to cover maternity leave for a period of 1 year. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing high-volume purchase ledger invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and overseeing weekly payment runs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase ledger invoices and post into Sage
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies
  • Manage weekly payment runs and review aged creditor reports
  • Oversee the email inbox for supplier and customer queries
  • Assist with sales ledger duties, including reviewing debtor reports and acting on outstanding balances
  • Support with petty cash requests
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in processing high-volume purchase invoices and working with different currencies
  • Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of Sage 50
  • A minimum of AAT Level 2
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
