Commercial Consent Processing Officer

Welcome to Hastings District Council, where we strive to provide exceptional services to our community. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Consent Processing Officer to join our Planning and Regulatory Services Group.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of Hastings' most significant construction projects, housing developments, and more. As a Commercial Consent Processing Officer, you will play a key role in processing consents and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process commercial consents and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and community groups.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices.
- Hold qualifications in Building, Design, or a related field recognized by Regulation 18 of the Building (Accreditation of Building Consent Authorities) Regulations 2006.
- Have well-developed written and oral communication skills, and advanced computer skills.
- Have meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of computer/digital literacy.
