Solar Farm Technician

Solar Farm Technician required to work in the Essex area.

This is a temporary/contract/subbing position for 3 months, with the possibility of going onto the client's books/payroll afterwards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.
  • Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Common sense and reliability, essential.
  • Full UK driving license.

Benefits:

  • £140-160 per day depending on experience.
  • Vehicle allowance + 25p per mile or Company van and fuel card, when travel required.
  • Working hours: 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch, Mon-Thurs, 7am-3,4,5pm on Fridays (depending on workload for the week).
  • Overtime will be paid, 1x3 weekend work with travel expenses, if required.
