The Kenmore Heritage Association is seeking applications for its annual conference scholarship. The award provides full conference registration, a $200 stipend, and a one-year membership in the association. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate financial need and a genuine interest in the museum field.

Four scholarship categories are available:
  1. The Ellen Ferguson Student Scholarship supports current students pursuing training in the museum or heritage fields. Applicants must discuss their academic status, interest in the field, reasons for attending the conference, and need for a scholarship.
  2. The Gus Norwood Volunteer Scholarship recognizes volunteer efforts at museums of any size or type. Applicants must describe their volunteer position, reasons for attending the conference, and need for a scholarship.
  3. The Robert Gruhn Working Professional Scholarship assists museum professionals facing financial constraints. Applicants must detail their current professional status, financial need, personal reasons for attending the conference, and the sponsoring museum's reasons for supporting the applicant.
  4. The WaMA Board Scholarship supports board members of museums who face financial barriers to attending the conference. Applicants must outline their current status as a board member, personal reasons for attending the conference, and the museum's reasons for supporting the applicant.

Applicants should submit a written application that includes their experience, photograph, and essay outlining their goals and motivations. A committee will review all applications and select recipients based on merit and need. Selected applicants will receive the scholarship package and be notified by email.
