About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer - Track to join our Major Projects team, working on the Southern Integrated Delivery project.

Key Responsibilities
  • On-site control of all technical aspects of track construction, ensuring compliance with relevant engineering designs, standards, and tolerances.
  • Collection and compilation of construction records to provide quality assurance to clients.
  • Production and review of site engineering and safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and task briefs.
  • Assisting the senior engineer and project manager in developing the project plan and providing engineering review of method statements and risk assessments.
  • Supporting the project bid/tendering process as required.
  • Providing site support to the project team throughout the works.
About You
  • Demonstrable experience working within Track Engineering.
  • Experienced user of 3D surveying instruments in a construction environment.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with an HNC/HND as a minimum.
  • Confident communication skills, both in writing and in internal and external correspondence.
  • Ability to operate effectively in the site environment.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience at team working/collaborating.
  • Full UK driving license.
