About the Role
Barchester Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Clinical Development Nurse to lead and support the clinical governance and quality of care for residents in our care homes across the West Midlands.
This role involves supporting the performance of each home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards. You will review the clinical governance database and KPIs of each home every month, analyse the results, and identify practical strategies to ensure all regulations are met and care quality is continually improved.
Working closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff in each home, you will support the continual improvement of standards and help implement key actions to address any issues that arise. This may involve organising new training, helping to attract key senior clinical staff, or delivering clinical investigations.
Regular travel is essential for this role, which requires a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements and a commitment to delivering the best possible care.
About You
- You will be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration.
- You must provide evidence of continued professional development.
- You will have experience working in a care home environment and be a confident clinical mentor, including with newly-qualified nurses.
- Your leadership skills, analytical mind, and ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on action plans will enable you to deliver impressive results.
