About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join our Student Services Team at the Fashion Retail Academy. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the safeguarding and wellbeing of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line advice, guidance, and referral to other services within and beyond the Student Services Team.
- Support and safeguard students by providing comprehensive understanding of pastoral care issues and support measures.
- Manage boundaries effectively and maintain a flexible, resilient, and positive attitude.
- Collaborate with the team to foster a culture of mutual support, recognition, and celebration.
Requirements
- Safeguarding qualification or willingness to undertake this.
- Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, and equality and diversity issues.
- Good knowledge of learner needs and issues facing young people.
- Excellent organisational, planning, time management, and administrative skills.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
