Financial Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and analysis to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management review.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to maintain financial stability.
• Financial Processes: Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes, including audits, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax laws and financial regulations.
• External Relations: Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
• Strategic Advice: Provide expert financial advice to senior management on strategic decisions.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
