Job Description:

In this esteemed role as a Lead Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will form an integral part of the multidisciplinary team at The Portland Hospital, UK's largest private children's hospital. With over 46 paediatric beds and a neonatal intensive care unit, we cater to the healthcare needs of over 40,000 children annually.

About The Role:
  • You will work with a highly skilled team to provide expert physiotherapy services to children with diverse or complex pathology/presentations.
  • Your duties will include undertaking comprehensive outpatient assessments, formulating and implementing treatment programs, and evaluating patient progress.
  • You will be expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
About You:
  • As a registered physiotherapist with HCPC registration, you must have a degree in physiotherapy and significant experience in paediatric physiotherapy, particularly in 0-5 neurodevelopmental assessment and MSK outpatients.
  • A strong understanding of evidence-based practice and treatment options is essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working within NICU and follow-up of premature babies is desirable.
Key Requirements:
  • To undertake comprehensive outpatient assessments and formulate individualised physiotherapy treatment plans.
  • To evaluate patient progress and reassess treatment programs as necessary.
  • To provide clinical support to more junior staff members and across other areas of the hospital.
Salary:

£65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
