Treasury Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in managing our company's liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily cash positioning and counterparty monitoring and recording
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational requirements and optimize yield and reduce FX costs
  • Manage bank accounts and bank mandates, as well as banking products and services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions
  • Prepare and present regular treasury reports to senior management, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including FX exposure and liquidity risks
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective cash management and financial planning
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as AMCT or a recognized accounting qualification
  • Experience in treasury management, including liquidity management and financial risk management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
