Materials Handling Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Engineer to join our team at Grant Handling, where you will be responsible for diagnosing faults with machinery, servicing and emergency repairs. A typical day will consist of working on both customer and company-owned machines to ensure they are in full working order.
You will work independently in a safe manner on customer sites, communicate well with customers and internal colleagues, and complete all relevant documentation correctly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A technical background from within Materials Handling or similar industries
- Previous experience and qualifications from a similar role
- Experience working on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Good attitude with the ability to stay motivated and productive
- A customer-focused perspective and approach
- Ability to work independently on sites in a safe manner, taking into account both your own and other people's safety
