Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT Security Services group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor network security mechanisms to ensure compliance with established security policies.
- Provide consulting support on secure connectivity, network services, and protocols.
- Develop and maintain security controls and processes to protect our IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the Computer Incident Response Team to respond to security incidents.
- Conduct periodic reviews, audits, and investigations to identify security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Support site security reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science or information assurance.
- 2-5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in Information Security operations, incident response, or a similar security-focused role.
- 3 years of experience in a non-security-focused IT role exercising independent judgment and solving complex problems.
