Job Summary:

Bulkhaul Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Middlesbrough. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing and safety inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on our vehicle and trailer fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine servicing and safety inspections on our vehicle and trailer fleet
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with our vehicles and trailers
  • Perform thorough MOT preparations to maintain our excellent pass record
  • Carry out roadside repairs and road test vehicles when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Class 1 HGV Licence (desired but not essential)
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and light fabrication

What We Offer:

  • 20 days holiday per annum plus all statutory bank holidays paid at a higher rate
  • Weekend call out (on rotation) retainer of £60 per weekend plus 5 hours minimum pay
  • Boots and overalls supplied by Bulkhaul Ltd
