You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a company's fleet of vehicles. This role involves coordinating vehicle maintenance, repairs, fuel management, and driver compliance. You will work closely with drivers, maintenance staff, and other departments to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance costs to optimize fleet efficiency.
  • Implement fuel-saving strategies and monitor fuel consumption to reduce costs.
  • Manage fuel cards and fuel records to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate driver training and compliance with driving regulations to ensure a safe and efficient fleet operation.
  • Track driver performance and conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage driver records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse fleet usage data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with vehicle suppliers, maintenance providers, and fuel suppliers to ensure optimal fleet performance.
  • Prepare and analyse fleet performance reports to inform business decisions.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
  • Bachelor's degree in transportation management, logistics, or a related field.
