About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Assistant to join our team at Clayton Park Bakery, a leading manufacturer of high-quality bakery products. As a Production Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, working closely with our team of expert bakers to produce a wide range of bread and confectionary products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the production of bakery products, including baking, packing, and quality control
- Work across multiple production lines, ensuring efficient and safe operation
- Set up and run machinery used for the manufacture of bakery products, adhering to strict quality and safety standards
- Complete accurate records and documents, maintaining high levels of attention to detail
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the production areas, adhering to site processes and procedures
Requirements
- Positive and organized individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in a similar role is desirable, but training can be provided
- Level 2 in food safety and hygiene is preferable, but not essential
- Ability to work in a safe manner, considering the safety of others
- Willingness to work a flexible shift pattern, including weekends and Bank Holidays
