About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Lead Business Analyst, who will be responsible for leading, directing, motivating, coaching, and developing a team of highly skilled Business Analysts (BAs) and Business Improvement Practitioners (BIPs). The successful candidate will facilitate best practice working models, manage the assignment of BAs and BIPs to Agile teams or projects, and handle availability conflicts and sourcing extra capacity where required.
Key Responsibilities- Developing strong relationships with the Digital Executive, their direct reports, and the IT delivery team to hold them accountable for their part in project delivery
- Supporting the Head of Delivery in strategic change planning activities
- Assisting in the initial assessment of initiatives, changes, and projects into the overall portfolio prior to assigning to BAs and BIPs
- Helping to develop standards and enhancing methodology
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrable experience in business analysis roles with the aptitude for, and capability to line manage a diverse team of BAs and BIPs
- Excellent mentoring, development, and performance management skills with a history of delivering outstanding results
- Proven experience of working in an Agile environment with a history of delivering outstanding results using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience of defining business processes, mapping the AS-IS and TO-BE to defined industry standards
- Desirable: previously experience of using MS VISIO to create business processes and JIRA for Agile story development
