Financial Operations Assistant
CV Screen Ltd is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Assistant to support financial operations within a dynamic and well-established estate. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accounts or finance role and proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions, including sales and purchase ledgers, and maintain control accounts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage month-end procedures efficiently.
- Process and resolve queries related to invoices and ledgers.
- Monitor and post payments and receipts while conducting statement reconciliations.
- Prepare and process monthly BACS runs and assist with financial reporting.
- Prepare, complete, and submit online VAT returns in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly payroll for outsourcing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and familiarity with accounting software; training will be provided on KeyPrime Advanced.
