About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in a Secondary School in Islington, London. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support, providing individualized attention and helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with 5-6 students who require additional support
  • Support the class teacher in lessons
  • Run intervention sessions and booster groups with pupils who need it most
  • Be involved in running extracurricular activities
  • Write reports and feed back to teachers, SENCO, external agencies and parents

Requirements:

  • No previous education experience is required
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training is desirable but not essential
  • Hold a Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
