Duty Manager

OB Capital Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Front Office team at Hyde London City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing guest complaints, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Front Desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the reception team to deliver a memorable and effortless guest experience.
- Manage and resolve guest complaints, concerns, or emergencies in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve business success by ensuring optimal rates, minimizing overbooking, and maintaining a high level of occupancy.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, incidents, and other important details.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and participate in crisis and fire team training.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and staff to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role or as a Supervisor with a track record of excellence in Front Office operations and procedures.
- Familiarity with Opera or similar front desk operating systems and GDS is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including weekdays and weekends, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a humble and open-minded approach to collaboration and innovation.
