Join Our Team as a Systems Design Engineer - Industrial Placement

We are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Design Engineer to join our Industrial Placement program. As a member of our Systems Engineering team, you will play a critical role in contributing to the mechanical design and installation of bespoke electrical boxes used on our Formula 1 car.

This is an exciting opportunity to design parts that will run on track and be exposed to almost all areas of the car. You will work collaboratively with our Design Office and have the chance to learn about all aspects of a Formula 1 car, from initial concepts to performance monitoring on track.

About the Role
  • Interact with a wide range of car assemblies and gain experience in harness routing, electrical enclosure design, and carbon bracket design.
  • Contribute to the design of test installations for both the car and factory.
  • Design parts that will be used on the track.

We are looking for a candidate with prior experience designing mechanical components using CAD packages and producing engineering drawings. You should have a creative mind, be able to quickly learn and use new engineering tools, and be currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Motorsport Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related subject at university.
