Job Title: Compressed Air Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Compressed Air Installation Specialist to join our team at Verto People. As a Compressed Air Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining compressed air equipment and downstream filtration plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and maintain compressed air equipment and downstream filtration plant.
  • Maintain, repair, and install various compressed air products, including air compressors, filtration pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air products.
  • Install and modify compressed air pipework using various materials, such as aluminum, plastic, stainless steel, and galvanized steel.
  • Install compressed air/water and nitrogen pipelines into various manufacturing industries.
  • Liaise with engineering departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • Experience as an Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Pipework Engineer, Pipefitter, or similar working with compressed air or similar products.
  • Installation experience on compressed air or relatable products, such as HVAC, hydraulics, industrial refrigeration, power generation, water pumps, vacuum systems, process cooling, heat exchangers, wind turbines, or similar. Full training is provided.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
  • Mechanical engineering background is essential.
  • Engineering qualification, apprentice-trained, IPAF qualification, CSCS card is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • This is a field-based role covering the south of the UK, including Berkshire, Hampshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire, and therefore must be willing to travel.
