Bupa Global is seeking a Care Unit Manager to join its team. This role is responsible for managing a team of care assistants and ensuring that residents receive high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have completed an NVQ3 in care and have experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit
  2. Supporting with clinical duties, including supporting the nurse to observe, issue medication, review care plans, and accurate record keeping
  3. Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsible for all shift handovers of the teams
  4. Helping with training and supervision of new staff members so they feel welcomed and supported
  5. Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses
